Editing Together The Sound

We finally got round to editing and sitting together the sound we recorded last week for our first animatic screening. This task mainly fell to me, and i discovered that my hearing might not be as good as it used to be.

I'm not really confident in music production and I therefore found this quite difficult but both my crew mates where very helpful to me and gave me lots of suggestions and ideas.

All records are of Erin playing, recorded with the help of Richard Butler. I did the mixing on Audition purely because it is very similar to most other adobe programs so the layout is familiar to me.

Once I got the the hang of the layout the program, assembling the track together was a quick process. I took me roughly a day to come up with this. I t was very sparse as we were limited but what we record and my lack of knowledge on music production.

Luckly, we are now collaborating with a Music Tech Student named Angus, who already has plenty of ideas for this projects.
