I did some quick designs on photoshop of some generic designer/high street store front today. I didn't go for a specific style of building as I wanted the set to feel universal since the brief stipulated that they wanted campaign that could be shown all around the world and so therefore I didn't want to alienate anyone.

An interesting thing I have found is that well known high end designer store generally look the all over the world and so coming up with variations was very easy.

These are not the finally ideas but are visualisation of ideas and concepts that have been in my head. While i was drawing these I was heavily influenced by the set designs and generally aesthetic of Wes Anderson. I particularly like the the set of his film The Grand Budapest Hotel. The symmetry of his work I think works well for these backgrounds.

At the end these designs will hopefully be laser cut out of cardboard hence why I have placed my designs on an image cardboard.
