D&AD Art Designs

I had to develop the backgrounds for the D&AD to match the designs for the character that where done by Karolina Papp. I came across an ad for Airbnb which really inspired me toward my latest designs.

The art direction and designs where done by the artist and illustrator Kenesha Sneed. To get a better handle of her art style I copied one of the background used in the animation above.

I was happy with the end result of what I did, though I know that I could have done a lot better with the colour and texture.
